The following coverages pay you for losses incurred. There are also travel assistance services that you can obtain on a 24 hour basis once you purchase the program. What this means is that when you experience a loss because of an emergency you can call the insurance company and they will send you a check for that loss. This section explains the meaning of the Coverage benefits, and the table in the PLANS section shows the dollar limits based on the program selected. The plans are underwritten by One Beacon Insurance, an A.M. Best “A” rated company.

Travel Cancellation
The program pays you the cost of the trip when you have to cancel the trip due to the reasons described above.

Travel Interruption
The program pays for the sudden rearrangements you have to make in the case that the trip is interrupted due to the reasons cited above.

Travel Delay
If you are delayed for more than 12 hours en route, the program pays for extra accommodations that you would need to make.

Baggage Loss Protection
The program will pay you this benefit if your baggage or other personal effects are lost, damaged or stolen while on your trip, provided you have taken all reasonable measures to preserve and protect, or recover the property.

Baggage Delay
If your baggage is delayed or misrouted for more than 24 hours, the program will reimburse you for the reasonable, emergency purchase of essential items; it will also pay the reasonable cost to return your baggage to your home.

Emergency Medical Expense Coverage
This coverage is required for entry to Belarus. If you become sick or are accidentally injured while you are traveling, the program will pay for necessary medical, surgical and emergency dental care provided by a doctor; it will also pay for professional nursing, hospital, x-ray, ground ambulance services and prosthetic devices. You must first seek treatment during the covered trip. This coverage will be coordinated with other medical insurance coverage that you may have.

Air Flight Accident Coverage
The program will pay you for loss of life or limb as a result of an airliner accident during your trip.

Damage to your Rental Car Coverage
This is a great benefit because it is primary to other forms of insurance or indemnity, which means that you are covered right from the beginning. If you rent a car while on your trip, and the car is damaged due to collision, theft, vandalism, windstorm, fire, hail, flood or any cause not within your control while in your possession, or the car is stolen while in your possession and not recovered, the program will pay the lesser of:

• The cost of repairs and rental charges imposed by the rental company
• The "actual cash value" of the car.

Notice
To take advantage of these benefits you should:

• Keep copies of your receipts and
• Keep information given to you that documents the existence of the emergency, such as airline notices, newspaper articles, hotel notices, etc.
• You must notify the 24 Hour Center of your situation and intentions so that they can help you properly. Failure to do so may reduce your benefits.
